It sounds like you have some electric interference in your truck.
Do you have the MFC? It contains allot of weirs that can create radio glitches.

Try and run the antenna as far away from other wires as possible. And if you have to pas the antenna past the battery wire or the motor weir, try to cross the wire at a 90 degree angel

You can twist the motor wires together. Try twisting the positive and negative leads together. At the very least, keep them close together; if you separate them, electrical noise will radiate between them.

It's also best to mount the receiver on its side with the antenna side facing upward.

I hade some glitching in my King Hauler, so I tried to run the antenna many different places in the truck, but ended up with a plastic antenna tub right behind the cab.

My Volvo however has no problems and I could just wind up the antenna and hide it inside the cab.

Both have the MFC.

Start with the easy things:

As stated above, keep the antenna wire and receiver as far as possible from high current parts (motors, batteries, large wires). Sometimes sandwiching foil between layers of servo-tape to affix the RX helps reduce interference. Coiling the excess antenna wire around the antenna tube base also helps.

Has the antenna been cut or replaced? Wire size and length are crucial to functionality.

Is the receiver the unit that came with the transmitter? If not, single and dual conversion may be an issue.

Are the servo and wires correctly arranged? Airtronics and Futaba have differend orders (white/red/black).

Are you running under or above electrical wires? These are huge sources of glitches. Sometimes cell phones will even cause glitches. Being located near cell phone towers or radio broadcasters will also effect the signal.
