View Full Version : Any chance on a real 3-speed reissue?
Tamiya is selling built RTR Hi-Lift for $1200. Any chance for a true reissue for about the same $? I believe it can be done for that kind of $

What do you call a real 3-speed if the F-350 isn't?

What he is asking for is a old bruiser style re-issue. which is very doubtful

correct most people do not realize we are a plastics company so all metal products are outsourced. Most of the old style stuff was all pot metal and not sure who even has those molds. So if new molds have to be created then it would increase costs. I know someone will say then just CNC the parts instead, well then it would still not be a true repro.
So I would say with the success of the highlift chassis and cost of a true repro, your chance is 5% or lower. Sorry
