Hi, I have an Airtronics M11 radio. And was wondering if any of you guys would know, if this radio would work with the high lift kit? Thanks for the help.

Don't know. Maybe. You could hook up the steering and throtle easy enough, but the gears might get tricky. How is it a 4 channel? What are the other two? Are they switches? If so, does one of them have three positions?

It will work with the High-Lift but not with the MFU. The M11 is a two channel radio that can be set to a 4 channel mode. What that means is that it will be a 3 proportional radio with 1 additional mixed channel. Thus it is not a proper 4 channel radio like the Futaba 4PK. However, you only need three channels to operate a High-Lift.

To do this with the M11 you must first select 4 channel mode and the inhibit the brake function of the third channel. When this is done channel 3 will operate as AUX, allowing you to shift gears. Se page 12 in the manual, which can be found here:
http://www.airtronics.net/manual/M11Manual.pdf
Setting the main display to show servo position will help you remember what gear you are in. See page 36. If I understood the manual correct (pages 43-45) you can set the AUX channel dial to operate in such a manner that one notch is 100 (1-100-200 - which equals a 3 position switch). If not you simply turn the dial untill the display shows you have moved from one end point (1st) to neutral (2nd) or the other end point (3rd).

I hope this will help you

Ok WOW Thanks allot- I know i had read that the M11 wasn't a true four channel radio. I just wasn't sure why. So , exactly what on my radio would make it change gears? The trigger works the throttle and the wheel steers it . So, what would make it change gears? Sorry I am a new be to the whole three and four channel stuff. Thanks allot - Neel

The dial that is referred to on page four as "Dial Knob", which is left to the steering wheel. For it to work you need to follow the steps mentioned in my previous post.
