hi all
im looking for some detailed pics and explanations of how a 3-speed gearbox actually works..
anyone here could help me out with this?
also how much would it be like to buy one of them i mean just the transmission system itself?

ps: anyone here from singapore?

Welcome to the site.

It basicly works by sliding gears back and forth to engage and dis-engage different gears. There are three positions, which engage different gears in each of the three spots. It has to do with how many teeth are on the gears, thereby creating different ratios and different speeds.

I've seen them on e-bay ranging from $40 to $80 bucks.
