Tundra are in the road now. Amazing body, accessories and options, I got two of them from our magazine's supporter.
Now the question is, would it be other? I mean would it be a next one??????
The matter is clear for me, after thinking a little, NO chevys, no others probably because the high rates companies are asking to Tamiya. However has been proved that TOYOTA let Tamiya make his models to an affordable cost. The Pajero metaltop was reissued just several months ago, it would be possible Tamiya offers on the next year a Mitsubishi Montero from the 90'. They have the front and rear and the 1/24 kit if I'm not wrong so the drawings are done. The wheels base is exactly 280mm.......
Please don't misunderstanding me, I'm NOT a know-it-all just I'm asking as I know the smart people from Tamiya America are here.
Think about the wide range of possibilities this will offer. Safari trucks. Pick ups.......etc.
I had though in the Chevy LUV (The ISUZU XC body with a cargo bed) or Bronco but I guess again the copyrights will put this out of question.
Thanks for hearing and reading

I think it would be weird to have a Pajero body on a highlift chassie... I would rather have a 1972 Chevy (or GMC if you want), or a 1975 Ford pick-up, or a lifted van, or an 1972 Dodge, a 1985 Dodge, a 1985 ford, etc... Or even better a 1985 Chevy (or GMC) Suburban!! I would defenatly buy that the first day it's available!! Just my thoghts,

good thought. i think that since the mfu has a really hot roddish sounding v8. i would like to see an american v-8. with the auto crisis there is going to be a real drive for publicity. tamiya makes killer bodies but i want more options. i go to a meet and theres 20 fords 18 toyota hiluxs. and about10 tundras. BORING!!! if i break a mirror than i just have to wait until someone else breaks one so i can put to together to make a good one. i guess thats a plus. i would also like to see a nissan hardbody 91 model. (toyotas arch enemy). thats what i drive to work everyday. 300 horse fairlady z 3.0 v-6 5 speed and a whole lotta fun. bring it on toyota!!! Tamiya let me know when you want a pic to model off of.hehehehehe.

Ya i have a Tundra myself but would like to see a few other bodies be available for the high lift. Even if it were other Toyota bodies like 84 or newer trucks or the 4-runner or hard version of the FJ40 or even the new FJ. Some Nissans would be nice or a 4 door wrangler.
