I've had this build done for a while.
But it's one of those builds that's just never done.
I just keep adding to it.

Here is how it started.
I was going to cut and splice my frame rails to lengthen them.
Found this to be unreliable, They flexed and sagged too much.

So I cut my own new frame rails out of .75 X .75 aluminum square stock
Much neater cleaner and more reliable

After getting all the holes drilled and tapped, now came my favorite part.
Body work
I cut the sleeper to add length to it

I remover the top of the sleeper to add a MONOGRAM Model roof to give the truck it Aerodyne look
Many of the Kenworth accessories can from the 1/16 scale Monogram Kenworth Model
I also sacrificed another set of KH fuel tanks to make the oversized fuel tanks.

Now it was time for head lights. Wasn't sure if I should go old school or stay with the W900 look

I liked the square ... They seemed more to scale than the small round ones.

It's getting close to time to paint... So another good heavy coat of primer to hide any imperfections and then a light sanding. OFF TO PAINT

That truck looks great. Real nice build and i love the colours.

The wing on the roof killed it for me.
