I have a drivetrain question.....

I ran my HL today for the first time and noticed when going up an incline the front wheels spin trying to pull the truck but the rear does nothing.When off the ground all wheels spin so I know the AWD is working.Can it be that my slipper is not tight enough?Or the fact that I do not have the diff locked?When running the locked diff should I be running it front and rear or is that all based on personal prefference?

The locking is personal preference depending on what you want. What do you have locked and unlocked?

At first I was thinking it might be your slipper, but the slipper is before the tranny, so I don't think its that.

Try testing by holding the truck up and then lightly putting the front tires on the gound as your accelerating. The wheels should spin and pull. Then do the same for the rear.

I locked both front and rear and lost allot of steering so I just locked the rear and it is working very well
