New seats fitted to my blazer

Hi all

So after a chum in the US kindly sent me a couple of Recaro phone holders which are perfect for replacement seats, I set about altering the bodywork to hold them, then fitted them in place along with five point harnesses to finish them off.

While not a mod for the diehard purest blazer lover, I think they are a huge improvement over the original ones, and am now glad I did it.

I only have this one other picture of my truck which is nearly finished, but I still have a few bits to add, and finish wiring up the lights, then the body needs aging and weathering.

I was going for a sort of off road explorer look and I also plan on making a trailer which will be part storage and part sleeping area with pull out awning and concertina lift up roof.

As for the belts, they are 1/4" white webbing dyed yellow using yellow inkjet ink and then just stuck in place. The stickers are actually what come off the phone holder as it has a fake harness to hold the phone from falling out. The belt ones just peel off so I swapped them to the webbing, then the buckle was also part of the phone harness so just removed it and trimmed the spike from the back and glued it in place.

If you're in the US these seats are easy to get hold of, but if you're in the Uk we only seem to get cheap copies which lack the belt and buckle detail.

I did try printing off labels, but unless you use decent photo paper they don't come out really crisp, but then the photo paper is a bit thick and looks odd.
