Hey everyone. Figured since I am new here, that I would start off with a few pics. Here is my current project. Old school G1 Optimus Prime. This is just the cab. I currently have a trailer on order. It should be here by the end of the week. And yes...I purposely left off the Autobot symbol, as the original G1 toy didn't have it on the cab either.

Finally got my trailer in and assembled. I left the top off on purpose so that I can still remove the sides. I now have to figure out how I am going to design the big Autobot stripe that runs down his trailer. I am debating on whether to try and paint it, or to take the original toy trailer to a graphics shop and have a giant sticker made?

Tough call on the trailer. There is a guy over on RCMT.net, Vinyl7, who makes vinyl stickers.

Finally got the stickers made for the trailer. I have to say they are pretty nice. Optimus has finally been completed!!

The stickers came out great. Where did you get them made?

You need to put an Autobods emblem on the side of the truck.

I found a graphics shop over here that will make anything that you can give them a picture of. I gave them the trailer from the toy, and they scanned it and even cut it out for me. All I had to do was peel it off and stick them on.

I purposely left the Autobot symbol off of the cab for 2 reasons.

1. The original G1 toy (second one from the smallest) didn't have the symbol on it.
2. The windows are there, and I did not want to cover it.
