how often should i grease my transmission and how much grease should i use?

Everyone will have their own opinion on this one.

Mine, Enough grease to cover all the teeth of every gear.

I'd open it up every couple hundred hours of use to check for wear and amount of grease unless you submerge it, then more often.

oh, ive been regreasing. one good lump spread around the gears every 5 batteries. however my truck only has about 6 hours on it so far. i figured a litle extra at the beginning couldnt hurt. it has quieted down now. and i will probably just do normal maint. from here on out. any pionters are very much appreciated though. thanks guys.

I sealed mine and use 1/4 fl. oz. of 90 wt. gear oil (not a joke ) and its quiet as a mouse.Now if i could just get a 64 pitch ring and pinion gear to hush it up alittle that would be great

I ment a 48 pitch instead of the 32 pitch gears on now.Srry for the mix up..
