View Full Version : Tundra - wheel rubbing on running board

Has anyone had a similar issue with the Tundra, built stock out-of-the-box: the left running board (next to the battery compartment opening) doesn't seem to interfere with the steering, but the right-hand wheel scrapes against the right-hand running board when turning. I'm not modifying anything and have (I hope) built everything according to the instructions. Any ideas?
Thanks!

When I first put my Tundra together I made a mistake on the build that gave me a problem that sounds exactly like the issue your having. Double check Step 33 (on Page 18) and make sure all four N5 parts are in place. If those aren't in place it lowers the floorboards and they rub the tires when you make a sharp turn.

Thanks very much for that help, yamata86! Indeed I forgot the N5's, didn't even see them in the instructions until I checked after your mention. Probably because I was busy with the MFC02 at the same time...
Problem solved!
