mfu-02 acting funny.

i have an mfu in both of m,y trucks. my hilux after getting about 25 yards away does not want to go into reverse. the reverse lights flash and brake lights flash, almost as if it is kicking from reverse to brakes at random. truck will also jerk and sometimes accelerate randomly. ive tried reprograming and moved the antenna to prevent interfearence as well as many other things. anybody else had this problem? i have seen this happen a couple of times on my high lift f-350 but the toyota does it alot!

Strange. Have you tried switched radios and crystals between the two?

I would think it is a reception issue.

Could be caused by:
low batts
freq interference
motor wires to close to antenna
shortened antenna lead
excess antenna lead wrapped to tightly

checked al those things. not real sure where to go from here. the funny thing is that forwardd works fine nomatter what distance it is at. i can run out about 75 yards or more in forward.

well here it is. dipped my reciever in liquid electrical tape. problem solved!!
