Hi all
My first post here, anyway, I'm a pretty experienced RC model builder, countless Tamiya RC including the 3 speed Hi Lift and an origional HiLux back in the 80s, a few HPI's and 2 nitro Helicopters, so to be honest, Im rather embaressed at this problem that I'm facing with my Knight Hauler, Chrome edition.
I've really enjoyed a few late nights building this including the MFU and have the Tanker trailer and motorized legs to attach to build next to attach to the main unit.
Anyway, problem is, I cannot seem to get the body to fit, if I line up the rear holes then the side screw hole on the doors absolutley refuse to come down any further to allow the screws to go in, and obviously the front wheel arches do not come down enough to align with the side plates.
I've removed it countless times and measured, and remeasured to make sure nothing is fowling, I dare not force it any further for fear of damaging something.
I'm sure the answer is probably staring me in the face, but for the life of me I cannot see it at the moment, hence I keep going back to try try and try again.
Has anyone else encountered this and managed to overcome it ?
Cheers all
Michael

sounds like alignment
are you putting the first screws tight?
just thread them in enough to say its caught the threads
i usually test fit the front
its hard to say without seeing pics

Fixed it !
The electrical socket for trailer lights was fowling the MFU !
Moved MFU down a bit, problem solved.
