I do not use Lipo's but I was told you should have no problems with "LiPo 2s 7.4v"

Thank You, janderson, but who was told You? Can we trust him?

It would make sense because its the voltage that matters. The NI-CD and NI-MH packs are 7.2, so 7.4 should be fine.

I'm guessing JAnderson talked to one of his co-workers to get that information.

McFig is correct, I talked to some of my co-workers (here at TamiyaUSA) that run lipo's and they saw no issues with what you want to run.

Big Thanks to You again, janderson!

The MFC do not have a lipo cut off function, right?
That could mean that you run the risk off running your lipo pack to low. After that it will not take any charging and you need to get a new one.

I run a 2S 2500mah on my MFC! Just watch the voltage drops when you run it. I keep my trail running to just under an hour a pack to be safe.

I run a 2s 2500mah on my MFC and it's fine. Just watch the voltage drops when you drive it as there is no lvc. Or you could attach an external cut off if you really want to play it safe.
