Hey guys, I just got the conversion combo from junfac for the Tundra, and I'm having a problem. Does the battery case need to be repositioned somehow? It looks like the rod bracket will interfere as is. The instructions are not so helpful .

Any help out there?

Hi,

I have the same kit as well for my F350, you need to remove the battery case. In my F350, there is long enough room to put the battery inside the frame (the area above the rear axle of the frame). But you may need to move/remove some of the horizontal joining.

Hope this help.

I believe he is referring to the stock battery holder which hangs below the frame and can interfere with the 4-link and limit the articulation. Most people relocate the battery pack in-between the frame rails. Here are some photos of how I re-located my battery.

I have the Junfac 4 link on my Tundra with the MFC unit so space is SUPER limited. I ended up mounting a 2500mah 2S lipo off the MFC on the driver side of the truck right next to the door. I can't mount a 6 cell pack as it is too big.
