2.2 Wheels keep falling off!

Hi all!

I fitted a set of '2.2 RPM chrome wheels' with 'Junfac 13mm wheel widener' on my Highlift and after a couple of spins the barrel nuts (which came with the wideners) becomes loose! ! I re-tighted them many times but the problem is still there...! Can anyone please , please help me out?

You need to use a drop of BLUE thread-lock on the threads of the barrel nut before installation. Tigiten the nut securely and allow the thread-lock to dry. Also make sure you install the lock washer on the barrel nut.

I just ran out of thread-lock and the nearest hobby shop will only have it around late next week! :-(
Can I use 'hobby glue' (yeah, the one for plastic model kits) for the time being?

No, that will just make a mess. Your local auto store carries "Loctite" Blue, medium strength, removable, liquid thread locker. Wal-mart also carries the stuff. It is the correct way to secure your fasteners.

You are welcome. I have the same wheel wideners from Junfac. I used the Blue thread-locker on them and I haven't had one work loose yet. :Tamiya1:
