Even though I like the high lift truck the frame is very lacking in eye appeal.

So, have you tried an after market, or made your own?

I have tried 2 myself. A David Diaz that I really liked. A friend has that truck now, but it was a great build. The Diaz isn't what you'd call ''bolt on'' it needs some fabrication. I didn't have any issues, though some people had/have a harder time. I'd give it a 9 out of 10 for looks, 4 of 10 for ease of assembly.

I also bought a Monotuning aluminum frame. The monotuning is nothing more than a light weight copy of the Tamiya so it is indeed ''bolt on'' no fabbing at all. A perfect fit. I'll give 6 of 10 for looks, and a 10 of 10 for fit.

Still, the monotuning is almost as boring looking as the stock. A real 1:1 isn't 2 perfectly straight parallel rails so IMHO the Diaz wins hands down there.

I don't have a Junfac, or tried anything else (yet) what are your thoughts? Having owned Junfac products before I believe it's fit and finish should be at least 9 of 10 if not higher. Everything else Junfac I've had was at least that.

Monotuning I had to wait over 8 weeks for! Last time I will buy from them...

I have a Monotuning chassis and I like it alot but your right it's just a copy. I also have a Junfac and have yet to build it up. Hopefully in the next week or so I will start to build it up.

When you really get down to it, the Real Ford F350 chassis is almost as straight as the stock high lift chassis.

I have a polished and channeled Diaz frame. I'm not sure if I'll sell it or go ahead and use it now that the Yota body is coming out.

I built my F-350 with the Monotuning chassis; I also used his shock towers and hard alloy gears.

Everything fit perfectly as mentioned by others, and I completely agree about the frame being 'boring' -- So I had all of it hard anodized in black to appear more realistic. Did the trick in my opinion!

Not sure what the problem is with shipping - I've received all of my orders in 3 or 4 days, from HK!

Steve, I'm sure if you knew but a while back, monotuning was blowing out the whole frame package for $29.95 with free shipping. I got mine in about a month from HK but others shipping took much longer. They were not on top of answering e-mails which torqued a few people.

Yep, I got mine also from that blow-out sale. It took 2 months to arrive... But no probs with that.

Mine took like 3 weeks to arrive (after a couple of emails to them), and I am local in HK!

I purchased the complete Junfac Chassis & lift Kit. Gave it a light polish & it looks good - now I just have to build the truck !

I am really drawn to the Junfac kit, I really like the machined shackles and lift kit feature!

I got a MonoTuning. It was on the shelf at my LHS, and cost $39.

It fits beautifully, and looks decent after a polish. My only concern is that threaded aluminum may be prone to stripping, so I put Loc-Tite on everything that screws to the frame.

The main problem I would have with Junfac, is the height. It looks ridiculously tall for a 1.9 rig. Any one mounted it up at it's lowest point and still maintain decent looks?

With the Hilux HL coming out, an nice aftermarket frame will be in the works, but not it looks like it's on stilts!

I think the Junfac is a good buy. The pics look good and when I got it in the mail, it was nicely packed and boy was it exciting. But I think the chassis does not cater for the MFC. I have yet to install the MFC though. Anyone else tried installing it yet?
