Just recently aquired an almost pristine Gen 1chassis, motor and trans. I allready had a set of axles and will be putting it all together and using a Pro-Line K5 Blazer body cut to some what look like the Blazing Blazer body. Not sure what tires I'll use yet but I'm thinking of cutting some 2.2's to fit the BB wheels.

The stock Blazing blazer tires have an inside diameter closer to 1.9. you would have to do some serious cutting glueing to get them down to size.

parma has a ''offroad truck body'' that is very similar to the blazing blazers looks

I have one being painted for me now or I'd measure it for you

Thats fine, It'll probably be longer before I get to actually starting this. Plus after seeing a guy stretch a RS Mangler Bronco on scale4x4, I have one I may try the same thing with and do a Blazing Bronco.

Whew, 9.5 WB, what are you mounting it on William? It looks like the BB WB is 11.3 and I'm guessing the Bruiser/Mounty are the same. I'm not sure what I'll end up doing for a body, maybe the HPI Bronco. The more I think about it I'd love to do a Bucking Bronco.

i find it very dificult to take a mint kit build it . invest several thousands of dollars in paint chrome and take it off my shelf and sit it in the dirt. i save the thrashing for my 1/8 scale brushless buggy's and truggy.

for me, they sit in the box, screaming for attention
after a bit, i cant stand it anymore and run them
no matter if its worth $400 or $4000, it will end up running if i hang on to them
my toyota hilux 4x4 is nearing the end of its shelf life
i'm looking at it almost daily now thinking, should I?.....well maybe later
now, there's someone that released wheels for it so i can run 1.9s
now i'm starting to get tempted alot more

I know how you feel derailed, i got so many projects half finished. And as i Waite for painters, which are slower than a glacier. I find myself staring at this king hauler, and thinking, should i? I got to stop buying new toys and just focus on finishing the old ones. I'M also chewing my finger nails off waiting for my mountaineer body and chrome to be delivered. Its gonna be a show stopper. check out all the pics in my albums.

i'm getting tired of all the tire kickers and empty promises i get
i paint my own rigs, i don't depend on anyone else
this truck is nearly done
a chrome king is on the way
i've been screamed at not to build it because they're chromed
ha!, i'm gonna enjoy running them
