2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive transmission

i wish tamiya would make a transmision for the hilift that you could shift from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive. i like the set up on my mountaineer and bruiser. you can drive around in two wheel drive until it gets stuck or i want 4 wheel drive, then i shift to 4 weheel drive and get out.

i know rc4wd makes one but i have heard mixed reviews and its really exspensive

Yeah I agree, that would be pretty nifty. Although with the current trans design not do-able, I think they would have to totally redesign it.

Same here. I was gonna make a thread about this but you beat me to it. Yea 2w with 4w transmission would be great.

I would love to see something like this. Also I would like to see remote locking diffs.
