I've read some comments that mentioned that the only common parts in the chassis between the Mountaineer/Bruiser and the Hilux/Blazer were the axles.

Can the prop shafts with the universal joint on the Mountaineer/Bruiser be used in Hilux/Blazer or are they longer?

Also, are the leaf springs the same or different between the Mountaineer/Bruiser and Hilux/Blazer? If they are different can the Mountaineer/Bruiser leaf springs still fit the Hilux/Blazer?

It's true, there are hardly any common parts between the two. I think just the front an rear axle cases and front axle. Pretty much everything else is different.

Mountaineer/Bruiser shafts can be used on the Hilux/Blazer but you will have to cut them down and put a flat in them for the set screw.

The leafs are way different. Most people including me use bruiser leafs on the Hilux to give it an extra lift.

center transmition sections and tranny guts are the same.
Hilux and Blazing Blazer are otherwise parts unique.
