I was thinking that this would be a top seller when Tamiya release it. Who thinks this must be released on a 3 speed chassis too?

I'd rather want to see a Peterbilt or even better a coach ...

I'd rather the next 3speed have a body of a 1:1 that has dual solid axles rahter than independant front suspension, like the Tacoma.

i saw that exact truck on show at the uk national motor museum last month. It was just parked up outside so you could have a seriously close look at it. Very cool truck and i too would like tamiya to make that shell!
Heres more pics of the truck in my showroom at tamiyaclub:

the newer toymota bodies are ugly, there are others that look better to choose from.
It is getting harder to find a solid axle front on current 4x4's as most have opted for ride over brute strength. Everything built now has ''soccer mom'' written on it. I'll never understand choosing a back seat and short bed over a 8 foot bed and higher GVW. Give me old school any day. :first:

I wouldn't mind seeing a three speed Jeep with the older styled thin axles instead of the new bulkier ones.
