What do I have to look for when looking for tires for the Knight Hauler and semi trailer ?
It is damn hard to find any suitable informations on the offical Tamiya page (hint).
Where can I get some nice alloys ?
I would check eBay, but as I said - I have no clue for what size I have to look for ...

Tamiya has alloy wheels as a hop-up option for these and I think they include tires.
RC4WD has alloy wheels as well - no tires.
There is a company called 3Racing that has a nice alloy wheel, realistic ALCOA style and screw on center caps. You can usually find those through Dinball on ebay.

I check Dinball on daily basis but I simply cannot find truck tyres .. mostly just 1:6 or 1:8 (at least at the moment - and they are ugly lol )

"Suitable Information" is quite a subjective term. If you are referring to replacement rubber tires that originally came on the vehicle, it can be located by clicking "data sheet" or "rc parts listing" on the respective vehicle page off the Tamiya USA website. If you are referring to the Tamiya Inc (corporate) website, I can't help you there as it isn't our design.
So in this case, a few clicks on the mouse takes you here:
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=9805456
That is the direct page for the rubber tires on the Knight Hauler.
For the aluminum alloy wheels, you click "Hop-Up Options" on the product page and it will display a listing:
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=56314 (product page)
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/rcpss.php?command=hopups&chassis_id=A67 (Hop-Up listing)

With suitable I rather mean in general .. Pretend to be a beginner in r/c and you might realize that specific informations are hard to gather ...
In this case yes, Tamiya has Hop-Up options, which I am aware of, and yes, I can get replacements.
But if you look for more options you might find it hard to find the size required etc.
I agree, my comment wasn't right here, but see the MFU for example. It says you require a 4 channel radio. So a beginner like me goes to Futaba or whatknows and gets a 4 channel - doesn't work.. Why ? It requires analog trimming .. It also doesn't say that you can pretty much forget any 6 channel radio if you want to run the MFU (no downloadable manual either)....
This was a bit OT - but maybe you get the picture of my slight frustration and exaggeration above.
Thanks God I actually signed up on several forums before I made the purchase.

Slightly OT, but if you want a Super Single tire, the re-Brat rubber fits semi rims, and they're the same OD.

Your frustration is noted and completely understandable.
We didn't know about the analog vs. digital trim until a customer brought one in for the techs to inspect a few years back. I'll work on getting a downloadable MFU manual. I'm not familiar with the MFU capabilities in relation to the radio channel number.
I can suggest that anyone can call our customer service department for advice pre or post purchase. If anyone has any problems with that department, they may feel free to contact me directly.
