I fired up an order on Tower including this one :

I choose a random frequence (or channel?!?) so I end up buying "87"

I am in the UK and now someone told me that I won't even be able to use it here (or not allowed that is)

Is this "hard coded" into the radio or can I just buy a 40Mhz crystal for that ?

I am sure that the radio is "hard coded" to the 75mhz band. It may work over a very short distance but not as well as one for the frequency you need. Might get lots of interference.

It is hard coded, but you can pay Futaba to convert it for you. Here is some information: http://www.futaba-rc.com/faq/faq-6xsuper-q54.html

if there is time cancel the order if not return it for a correct one.
