I like the grill guard. The axles...I wish someone would make a better looking case! Why keep doing stock looking replacements?

Thorsteenster, I couldn't agree more on the axles. IMHO the diff. is way to large and round. Small would increase the ground clearance, not by much but every millimeter helps.

These are the axles that to me look the most realistic.

Between Junfac, RC4wd, Yeah Racing, and RC Channel, you really could make an "all metal" truck that is just like the original Hilux...only.....different....:bangin:

I think you can make one that even better than the original

Just use RC4WD.com's scale truck. Not your cheap pot metal but some serious alloy with billet CNC machined parts.

Word out is that it is still has some bugs. There have been a few revisions lately, since one of the first buyers found that the front wheels spun opposite the rear.
I'm not trying to rip on RC4wd, they make some of the greatest aftermarket parts on the market, that one just neds a little more R&D.

My brush guard arrived tiday along with the alloy diff covers. The guard is a tad wide, but I may, if im brave enough at some point trim the sides down a bit narrower. More pics in my GALLERY (http://www.tamiya3speed.com/forum/showthread.php?t=474)
