Simple question

Sorry for the silly question. Their body shells were obviously different but did the bruiser and mountaineer share the same chassis and parts? Or were they totally different?

The Brusier and Mounty shared the same chassis. However they showed minor differences, as the battery try and wheels. In the time of Bruiser Tamiya still used the old big size 4000 mA style battery, the new Mounty just offered a try for the common 6 cell 1700 mA battery.

actually the bruiser tray can hold either a brick pack or a 6 cell stick pack

the mountaineer also has all aluminum gears in the trans.

Oddly enough, the mountaineer has it's own radio box also but I'm not sure of the differences other than the name molded inside.
