Use the Futaba 4VWD (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBCP2**&P=ML).

In order for it to work properly a 4 channel stick radio with manual or slide trim levers. It will function with digital trims but not as well as one without. The 4vwd from Futaba is a good choice but is succeptible to AM frequency glitches. I use a Futaba Skyport 6 on my Knight Hualer and it works great. It's also equipped with the MFU and I've had no issues. It's on the 75mhz FM frequency and since was a converted airplane radio the left stick doesnt auto center up and down so takes some getting used to. My King Hauler has an Airtronics VG400 also on 75mhz which works well also just no MFU not yet.

As you might have discovered suitable offerings among new transmitters is not particularly large. You can look into used old 4-channel transmitters. During the Dark Ages people flew their model air planes with 27 MHz AM transmitter. There are quite a lot of them still around, albeit banned from most airfields they are still perfectly OK for land use in most countries.
I use the same JR 4 channel AM 27 MHz radio that was purchased together with my Hilux back in the early 80's. It works flawlessly with MFU in my Knight Hauler.

You can easily convert the skysport to self center on the left stick. I did this with the one I use for my King Tiger. You just have to order the parts from Futaba.
