I don't know if this is the right place to post this, if not sorry and please move it.
I'm 53 years old, still young but I couldn't wait 20 years to see other new 3 speed truck. :sorry:
I fell that people at Tamiya are looking this forum , and I want to do my little contribution, just an idea.
Below I have placed a picture of the modified body I used one year ago to place in a new 3 speed chassis, and I really think that's realistic to think that we could have a full kit from this.
I did from a new clod body, but I'm sure the powerful Tamiya company could improve the old mould to get a terrific Chevy, new lights, bumpers...etc. Perhaps some others wheels, I think that the Hummer ones chromed would be a terrific idea. Most of us already have the Izusu and Pajero ones and they are easy to find but chromed Hummer aren't.
I added a Bruiser rear view, what I had at hand and wipers, also could be added a lot of improvements Tamiya knows how to do.

I have read in this forums lots of ideas, a Dodge truck new Chevys...etc but being realistic with the foots in the ground, this can be done.

The past year I bought two F350 now I ordered two Hilux and of course would buy two Chevys, and I saw others in the same way, most of people I have email with and because my work I know thousands of modelers.

Please men help with your ideas to encourage Tamiya to realize this that could be one of the best in the big T history, having in account the big brothers, Cloud and super cloud still around.
Thanks for reading!!!!

I think a Clod body on the High Lift would be a good idea, despite the fact that I don't like Chevys. Although 3 things that should be done, get rid of the blower hole, the lines in the fenders for the faux tilt front end, and a grill sans the "4x4x4".

It is a good looking truck and i've always liked it.

But, after Tamiya and Chevrolet had their little disagreement over the Chevy badged clod buster, i doubt they would go for the Chevy body on a new truck. Would they be cheeky enough to ask permission to use the Chevy badges now?

I didn't know this fact, and of course would be a problem, anyway looks like Tamiya fixed very well with the super clod. perhaps the best would be just not badges at all
