Yes!

It's a AM transmitter so it's most likely that it has.

Slightly off topic, but why would the fact that it is an AM-radio make it more probable that it has self-centering sticks?

I think the "problem" is that most analog trimmed radios (which is required for the MFU) from Futaba (also the T4YF, have the left stick non-spring centered and he rather checks out the options as you don't have many if you want to run the MFU ..

Gombaja, modulation per se does not have anything to do with how the sticks center - my objection was to the conclusion that such an relation exists.

There are options out there, most air/heli type transmitters on an "OK-for-ground use" frequency with analogue trims will fit the bill. I would say that the need for analogue trims is the limiting factor, especially if you exclude the option of considering a used radio set.

The sticks are not a problem. You only want the left stick to self-center in one direction (throttle) as having it self-center on both throttle and gear change is inconvenient.

Whichever direction the left stick self-centers in is of no importance as this can be changed. If the left stick is spring loaded on th Z-axis and only has a ratchet on the Y-axis that can easly be changed. The ratchet can be removed and the spring can be moved.

The reason I wanted to have it spring centered was that going from forward, to neutral, to break and back again was a bit inconvinient.
