Many Hilux/Blazers have one or two of the radio box front lugs missing that help support the Hilux cab.
I would like to ask if any of you have a god tip for a repair/fix that is somewhat discrete but still help support the cab?

Mouton, try cutting out the tabs in the shape from hard clear acrylic candy boxes or use thin metal sheet and cut in the shape needed and glue to the radio box it. It works for me.
unfortunately I don't have pictures to show as I sold my original Hilux long time ago.

Thank you! I will try something along those lines. I was mostly wondering if such a fix would hold up to the car rolling over? But then again I do not drive my Hilux that hard, so I guess it will not be a problem.

what I have done is make something from a piece of aluminum angle then trim to shape. A 4-4.5'' long piece of angle glued to the front of the box with the 2 tabs is plenty strong enough even in a rollover.

Act fast!
If you intend to paint, or don't mind white color of repair work, the 2 part epoxy used to make women's acrylic nails works well to make plastic repairs. It is fast setting, sandable, and bonds to almost everything.
