Topic says it all!

What rims can I use with my Sand Blaster tires?
Ordered some tires from Stella, but did not think about rims for them :(

you can use the sand scorcher/hornet rims for them. And of course also the brat ones.

Which threespeeder will you use them on?

Try the re-released Tamiya Subaru Brat rims, they will fit.

if your talking about the sand blaster 915 tire, these were originally used on the rough rider, ranger xlt, pajero 1 and brat. They are 1.7" in size. You're pretty limited in what rims they fit. 1.5" scorcher rims are too small. Tamiya did release some 1.7 wheels for the wild ceptor but they are pretty ugly.

What do you plan to use them on?

I hope to use this on my F-350.
I don't really think that the Subaru Brat rims will look good on it.

How about some rims with chrome or gold finish? :first:

here are the wild ceptor wheels

they fit the tires perfectly and they have a hex mount so they would fit the F350 perfectly. Their just not my cup of tea in the looks department

Pete359, are you talking about the 915s?

Slightly off topic, what car had the TurboBlaster 550 tyres? They fit the Scorcher 1.5 inch rims but have the same diameter as the Wild Ceptor ones (83mm but wider, 40 mm). The look like high profile 915s.

Those are not Tamiya tires, they were made by AJ's

I don't like the looks of the wild ceptor wheels ether.

How about this?

You can stretch them onto the semi wheels or a little more stretching will fit on 1.9 wheels.
Here they are stretched on to some HL wheels.

Fox rear wheels are 2.0 in size and they use a fox specific four pin hub.

Damn!
I see if I don't just order some Brat rims then.....if I don't find any other that fits and that I like the look of.

Thanks all for the help! :yourock:

Using the old skool Brat wheels may give you problems because the wheel is thicker. The axle stub may may not be long enough for you get the nut on. Another possibility is locating a set of old RC10 rear wheels with a 1.6" diameter. They are thicker, but don't require a hex, so they mount directly to the pin in the stub.

Why don't you just put them on 1.9 wheels and be done with it.

The brat rims will not fit the High Lift. first they use a different hub and as Suprachrgd82 points out, they require a longer axle. you can't use a re-re brat axle becuase the bearing spacing width is different than the High lift.

Another possibility is locating a set of old RC10 rear wheels with a 1.6" diameter. They are thicker, but don't require a hex, so they mount directly to the pin in the stub.

the problem here is that the RC10 axle steps from 1/4" and tapers down to a 3/16". not a good fit on a 5mm axle plus they don't really look that cool anyway.

Personally I don't like that stretched look and you have a problem with the sidewalls being unstable and shifting from side to side.

Me too!

Well..... it seems that I have to make me some rims for them then!
