I'm just curious if there is any interest/demand for original manuals?
I have one from a Mountaineer I sold back in '04 (forgot to put it in the box and forget who I sold it to)
It's in really nice shape with no tears, but it does have some wear. If there is any demand for it, I'm sure it could be pried out of my hands.. If not, I'll probably toss it, which I would hate to do, though.

I would be interested, how much are you looking to get for it?

Hope he is not trying to sell something outside of the traders area? it would be a shame to see his first deleted due to not following rules which should have been read... hint hint

How is he suppose to put it in the traders area when he only has 1 post? Your requirement of 100 posts before you can use the traders area is a bit unrealistic. Most forums only require 50 before you can sell or some do not have any quotas at all. The requirement of only 3 speed items is great but the number of posts is not going to be met by very many members except for you moderators. Please remember that this is just my opinion. You are actually making ebay more money with this rule.

Most definitely not.
Just curious if the originals still hold any value (and what it might be) considering people can get them free online via PDF.
If it was a for sale post I would have posted it in the right area with a price ;)
I don't question the "100 post" rule, but I doubt I'll be around long enough to make it that high ;) Considering I've been on RCMT/S4x4 for many years and hardly have that many posts on either forum. Not to mention all I have is a lowly High-Lift in comparison to the Mountaineer. :willy_nilly:

If you want to change rules you should post this in the suggestion area and see what kind of interest you get? I'm all for making the site as usable as possible.
Please remember Rules like these are there for your protection from scammers.

I'm fine with the 100 post rules.

I think it needs looking at
I post on various sites and i'm not listing them, all with the same user name i have sucessfully dealt with many members with no problems at all to report i think it should be lowered maybee even halved.
You make your own mind up at the end of the day, you pays your money you takes your chance
Lets face it you can get shafted on ebay and countless do on a daily basis
Most people post on various sites as the same user.
How about combining history form various sites to be listed in your add
example
For sale 1 nib Mountaineer £500.00 for quick sale
Paypal only
Tamiya3speed member Dready 80ish posts
Scale 4x4 Member Dready 100 ish posts
Rccrawler member Dready 10ish posts
Tamiyaclub Member Dready 300ish posts
Ebay Id is .......... 100% feedback
regards....
And let people make there own mind up if they want to trade.
At least they would have more info to go on.
I think also by lowering the number you would at the end of the day get more posters.
It is shall we say quiet on here to say the least.
there is lots of competiton out there
Just my two cents
