Hey boys and girls ..
Ive got a R470 on the way its my first rig . was wondering is there any hints and tips out there for me to make the build go smoother . and is there any worthwhile upgrades to do ..

I think ball bearings are a must, best bang for your buck as far as improved performance. I wish they were stock in the kits (should be for the price!) As far as the build, invest in a good parts box (I use a small tackel container with lots of compartments) to hold all the small bits, you will be suprised at the number of screws and such contained in these kits. If you can afford it get the multi function unit, pretty cool and easier to install while building, altough you can add it later if you wish. Good luck with the build, Dave.

Best advice after the ball bearings is to take your time!! Do not rush on one of the semis. Lots of parts and many ways to make mistakes. Fish is also right that it is much easier to install the MFU when you are building rather than after. Too many chances of messing up the body trying to get the many LEDs to fit, let alone trying to run wires everywhere.

hey thanks for that have both the bearings and the Mfu coming for it .. can wait to get it and start building .
