I thought I gather all the information posted here in the forums since there is always someone who asks which radio goes with what. So maybe it helps other peeps in the future.
Feel free to get more onto the list. I don't know how long I can edit my post once made, but if I can edit it I will add them.
General information
The Multi-Function Control Unit (Item #56511), sometimes refered to MFU and sometimes refered to MFC, has 20 LED for 9 light functions, 24 Radio-Controlled Sound Effects and also controlls the motorized support legs and it also acts as ESC (Electronic Speed Control).
Details can be found here (http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=56511)
When buying a transmitter, you require a 4 channel transmitter with manual trim.
Please find below transmitter which are known to work with the MFU.
When buying a transmitter, make sure you buy one with a surface frequeny allowed in your country.
A list of legal frequencies can be found here (http://www.ukrcc.org/).
For example, the surface frequency in the US is reseved for the military in the United Kingdom - hence illegal.
