Hi folks
Can be placed the MFC-01 in the King Hauler or Aeromax, I meant are those kits prepared to receive the MFU?
Thanks in advance!

All Tamiya tractor trucks can accept the MFU, so you need not to worry about it. The MFU includes some special parts for some specific trucks.

The manual of each truck also includes specific instructions in case you want to build it in during the actually build of thet truck.

Sorry it's not so. When the King Hauler was issued didn't exist the MFC-01, just a light set, which obviously didn't have sound, vibration unit and was of different size, that's the reason I made the question. I have installed successfully MFUs but just wanted to know if the kits are prepared directly to place the electronic, as a friend of mine asked about this.

The instuctions for the MFU includes a diagram of how it should be installed in each of the semi's. Here is one installed in my King Hauler.

I JUST ordered the King Hauler and the MFU from HK \o/ so I will also have both manuals :P

One question : Is there a cover for the tool box with the controls in ?

Not for the King Hauler. I have seen people adapt a Knight Hauler box on and others hide the controller behind the back panel by the battery.

One thing I did was to adapt a Knight Hauler back up lamp and housing. The King Hauler doesn't have one.

the Fifth wheel is shiny becuase these were shots I took shortly after my MFU install. Believe me, this truck see's a lot of use.

Thanks that's the answer I needed, so the kit is not prepared for the MFU, I placed MFU in new trucks but I was wondering if the old will accept easily the parts. Thanks all you folks

mcovalsk, rather than saying the older kits are not prepared for the MFU, I would say the MFU is prepared for the older kits... As mentioned any truck in the series and a MFU will work and everything needed is included either with the truck or the MFU.

Or both :P ... I build two trucks now and I think I can now open a garage sale for 5th wheels
