i was wanting to get a transmission for a hybrid bruiser but im not sure what would be the best..i saw the R2 w/disconnect so 2wd/4wd options let me know yall i also have the original bruiser tranny should i keep it?

keep the orig if you want a shelf queen or part time runner.
If you plan on running hard aftermarket is the way to go. Stampede is popular.

what kind of rig are you looking for?
Pede transmition has good gearing options for a trail rig or crawler
axial ax10 tranny is more closely a crawler trans
R2 from rc4wd is definatly a crawler trans
traxxas maxx is a trail transmition

You might want to look into an E-MAXX tranny. 2 speed with lots of gearing possibilities. Not that hard to install in a Bruiser frame either. I just sold mine on ebay that had an E-MAXX tranny in it.

thanks! the thing is i wnt 2wd/4wd option and i havent looked very much but i know the R2 w/disconnect offers that it may not be what i need but i like that option. i want a full time runner and im also debating weather or not to sell my bruiser tranny + shafts/axles
