Hi people,
When I had finished my King hauler I installed the 40mhz radio gear I had and once the battery was charged I switched it all on to try it out. When I switched it on there was no sounds and no movement from the servos. I thought that when I was chopping the reciever so the servo plugs would fit that I may have slipped and damaged the board inside. So I swapped the radio gear for the 27mhz kit I had just to try it, this worked all the sounds and functions worked. As it worked I decieded to use this radio gear untill my new 40mhz reciever arrived to replace the one that I thought was damaged.
Yesterday I eventually got time to swap the radio gear over again with the new reciever. I checked all the cables were correct then connected the battery. Then I switched the truck on then the transmitter and guess what, nothing happened it is doing exactly the same as before. No response at all.
Now my guess is that it could be the 40mhz xtals or the transmitter but both are brand new.
The radio gear Im using is:-
- Futaba R114F 4ch Rx Micro FM40
- Acoms Techniplus-4 transmitter
Does anyone else have any ideas?
