how many high lifts or hiluxs can pull a toyota tacoma???? is tamiya gonna do something funny like that for a promo like they did for the bruiser I believe it was or hilux back in the 80s?

Back in the days they used 14 Toyota 4x4 Pickup (RA1028) to pull a 1:1 Toyota Hilux.
As modern cars are heavier more model cars might be needed. On the other hand the ESCs can handle higher currents today, which make the model cars more powerful as well.

I wonder how many HiLifts with 100 turn motors it would take? Lots of torque and not much speed!!!

I would talk about batteries instead ESC, the transistors the old ESC used resisted more than the battery itself. The old 4000mA could handle a peak of 30A until to be destroyed, new metal ones of 4200 resist 60A. anyway I wouldn't make the test :LOL:
