I noticed alot of folks paint over their chrome-coloured parts (e.g. bumpers, roll bar, etc). Do you have to lightly sand of the chrome before painting over it? Or do you simply put a coat of primer before painting?
Thanks

you can strip the chrome off with easy off oven cleaner. on my high lif, I just sprayed a coat of primer over the chrome and I have not had any problems with chipping or flaking of the paint.

Fabulous! I was worried about the paint not gripping the chrome well and flaking off after a while. Will do the same....cheers mate

I don't have easy off here where I stay so I'd most prob do some light sanding before priming and painting too. I'll also spray a couple of clear coats after that.
Anybody experienced difficulty with their paint falling off after running the truck?
