I’m about to get my first truck.
I like the king hauler but the Knight Hauler looks really good too.
They look alike, but for some reason the Knight Hauler is cheaper.
Also, what radio control do you recommend? Do the radios come with the servos?
Does the truck come with a speed control?
Does anyone have a list of things I need with part numbers to finish the project?
I want lights, sound, vibration and the cool things that make the truck complete.
Please let me know.
Thank you,

you will need a 4 channel stick radio. some radios come with two servo's some with four but you will only need two servos, one for steering and one for the shifting. if you buy the MFU, it has a built in ESC. otherwise you will need an ESC.

Knight Hauler any day. I've done one and i love the looks of it, word of warning tho, the cab is a real pain to get on and off, but should everything be ok inside you should'nt need to remove it very often.

Watch you dont buy the digital type of RC equipment, especially if you go for the MFU.

Either truck is great. Knight Hauler is closer to the new streamlined tractors out there now. I still see a lot of tractors that look like the King Hauler but more and more look like the Knight Hauler. MFU is diffinately the way to go. Saves you from buying an ESC and then removing it if you get the MFU later on. It is much easier to put the MFU in as you build than to install in a finished model. Futaba Skysport 4 channel on ground freq. is the radio of choice for most. Other brands are out there if you look. Just make sure the radio DOES NOT have digital trims.
HTH!! and good luck with your build.
