Does anyone know any good tricks to adjust the way a Bruiser body sits on the frame. Mine seems to be sitting about a 1/2" off center to the driver's side on the front, but is perfect in the back. I tried flipping the front body mount and that did'nt work. I used a spacer under one side of the front body mount (that worked but looked, well you know). Any help would be appreciated, thanks MM.

I just installed my front bumper and there is about an 1/8" gap between the bumper mount and the front bumper (on the body) on the driver's side, and the passenger side is touching. I looked at pictures on the Gallery and it seems like most Bruisers have about a 1/2 " of space between the front body bumper and the bumper mounts. I never had a front bumper until recently so I don't have any idea what is going on.

sounds like your frame is bent. double check that it's square from left rear to right front and vice versa.

Agreed
measure right rear corner to front left corner
then left rear corner to right front corner
should be equal

if not frame is bent

You guys were right on, my right frame was bent. After some work I got it straight (without even hurting anything). My gap from bumper to bumper bracket is even now, but only about an 1/8 inch. If I lift one front tire off the ground it twists everything enough to make the gap close and I am sure if it was painted I would get a wound or two. Do you guys know if this is normal? Thanks for your help. MM

Maybe you can loosen all of the screws holding the cross braces to the fram rail measure and straighten, then tighten all the screws back up.

Thanks. My frame is straight now, but how much of a gap is normal between the front bumper and front bumper bracket?

Here is a pic of mine. I can't measure the gap for you as I have a totally different bumper on it now
