Whats the deal ?!?
Painted some parts with TS 39 and TS 06 and now I cannot even finish it because I run out :( :(

Ok, lets get a little more descriptive and tell us where?
USA has all paint lines

If you are speaking of a different country lets hear where so we are all the same page and not in a panic

Great Britain
I don't panic ... I can only say what local shops tell me.
I've been to three different shops btw. - same story.

Found more details on a UK website
Where has all the paint gone?
Due to labeling issues the following paints have been withdrawn from sale:
All TS and AS ranges
X-10, X-11, X12, X-13, X-31, X-32, X-33, XF-16 and XF-56
PC-12
All paints have been returned and will be replaced with the correct labeling as soon as possible.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Correct we were hit with this years ago, but were able to sell while we relabeled so not much down time

What kind of error was it anyway ? It seems to be a bit vague ...

There was no "error", Due to the rash of Lead and toxic issues in the news the government was cracking down on labeling. For things like content, size, languages etc...
Again it's not a big issue as the paint is not changing it just has to be relabeled to sell it. We were able to get this done years ago and quickly so there was no backlash, most people in the USA did not even know. It seems the UK is having a bit more issues with it.

I have problems to get ANY paint outside of the US (tamiyausa doesn't ship outside US either).
Not even ebay is helpful .. at the moment I can only go to a local DIY but those colors are horrible .. sanded my body (truck body that is lol) already twice because it turned out to be horrible :(

Main issue is sprays are pressurized so they generally go ground only

Check your local auto-parts store. Automotive paints (used with corresponding primer) work just fine on Tamiya bodies. You'll probably want a clearcoat as well, since they don't have the gloss of the Tamiya paints, but it sure beats waiting til '09 to paint your rig.

Hi.
You could try ebay, there is a girl on there selling all colours, I have had a few off her now, very reliable and quick to respond. Admittingly, the price is higher than you would expect, but I believe she has to travel for them. Give her a go, fair play to her, she helped me finish my models.
Her user name is little_girl123

I'm not sure how mis-information such as that gets around.
TS paints are still available and shipping (when they are in stock obviously). TS-39 is currently out of stock but we have tons of TS-06 (85006) right now. Some are just back ordered more than others. I count more than 15 available colors on just page 1 alone:

I am from the UK and TS paint is NOT available here. I first got the information from the local shops and then also the Tamiya reseller here in the UK and tamiyausa does not ship outside of the US as most online shops as shipping of cans containing gas are illegal to ship
:sorry:

I think Larrio thought you were US based. Your right, in the UK tamiya paints were pulled because they didn't meet EU labeling guidlines.
Some people have had good luck with Halfords paint.

Yeah I'm a total novice and although its not as good as some top paint jobs on here I'm pleased with the results from the Halfords paint make sure to use the plastic primer though......

Tamiya TS paints are still not available in UK as of up to today.
When is this going to be sorted out by Tamiya? Surely it's not beyond their wit or resources to produce labels that are in English and that conform to EU regulations?!
Anyone know when we can expect the TS paints to come back to UK ?
Cheers,
Alistair G.
