this will fit a dual steering scania

the scania has alot curves in it,but will be no problem

Looks better without the step. After looking at all of the pics of the Scanias, it needs a very wild paint job to complete along with 2 or 3 drive axles.

Unless a fire truck is the goal I would loose an inch or so of the cab. It looks way too long, even compared to the odd trucks in the video. I agree with tc1cat that the step would probably be best kept in the toolbox for now.

Why not simply go through that video again and decide which truck you like the most and the model your Scania off of that? That way you know exactly what it should look like, how to paint it - and you have a scale model (which might help you bump up the sales price). Consider it a challenge to make a 1:14 copy of a real truck.

im doing alittle experimenting here and see that with the fins on it ,it didnt look right with the short side skirts.so i add the step back but ive also a a top plate to the side skirt.this this will make it look like a running board but ill putmaybe a diamond plate on it

How hard would it be to make a different part to match the skirting in place of the second step? Second step is kind of useless unless you add a door to the extension. Wasn't too keen on it at first but now it is looking better all of the time.

Are you absolutely sure you are really going to use that roof spoiler? In all honesty, it looks ridiculous on such an extended cab. It looks very misplaced and I would say you would be better off without it. However, it would look much more proportionate with a slightly more raised roof and a lower (and shorter) roof spoiler. Then you would get much closer to the real (but weird) trucks in the Youtube video you linked to earlier in this thread.

What about the interior? As you have extended the cab by so much you have plenty of room for both an MFU/speaker and an interior. What are your plans?

well i wasnt sure at first, i havent seen any trucks on the road like those in the video, but they look good. i like what you have done with this one, its maybe alittle long in the back of the cab to be scale but it looks ok.
what i do think is, it is screaming out to be airbrushed like those in the video, maybe a poler bear and ice/ snow/ stars and use it to pull one of the new reefer trailers??!! that would be ace!
