Hi Guys, They are rectangular red and Amber with yellow on the front top edge LEDs which you can buy at any electrical shop, they are wired to a 3v supply stored in the locker with an off/on switch. The tedious bit was measuring and filing the holes to get a tight fit, you also have to make holes in the ABS sheets. No resistors were used. If i remember they could not be wired in series for some reason. im not an expert in electronics its all trial and error with me, maybe someone with more knowledge may be able to answer why.
Just a note the difference in colour when on between the red and amber LEDs is hardly noticable.

Hello iam new in this world from trucks and trailers. I have a volvo fh 12 and i would like a trailer behind it so i did a bit of research and the reefer trailer is very nice. But the problem is the lights. How do i do that. There is a kit to buy i know that but thats only for the lights behind isnt it? How you get the lights on the side of the trailer. Hope anyone can tell me that?

roediekenders,

Nice looking rig, I like that green. You can post your link in the video section and it will auto play in the thread.

As far as the trailer there is a light kit for it. Unfortunately you have to lug the trailer into the cab for it to work. So you must disconnect it to drop the trailer as well.

your trailer looks awsome and i have a project that is similar. But i just wanted to know what kind of LED's you used, or where you purchased them or if they are even custom made
