Will you use threadlock and ball bearings or will they be like many other RTRs meaning that you have to reassemble them properly yourself by installing bearings and use threadlock where applicable? Although I am confident these will all be properly built - I did not see any mentioning of ball bearingsm, which is an absolute must for these pièces des résistance of the Tamiya-lineup!

But here is the real kicker:
They are cheaper than their unbuilt cousins! :LOL: At least the RTR-trailers (box and tanker) feature a lower MSRP than the kits without the lights set. Time to drop the MSRP for the trailer kits and lights now? :Good Point:

bet there is loads that will love it ready made, but i like most love building even if with busy adult life it takes forever doing just 1 hour here and there. Then some also odnt have patience or skill to build one to!

But you would think rtr be more expensive though!

I still look for kits only more and hate it when you dont have to choice of kit or rtr!

Well there is a rumor that once they come in, the prices are going to drop a little. So, keep your eyes open.

I hope so kinda expensive right now for me personally. if they came out like 6 months not a problem....

im glad tamiya is doing this I love the XBs..wish they could sell them to towerhobbies.com though so they can be a little cheaper....:LOL:

Yeah, these were suppose to be coming down in price soon, but I guess that hasn't happened yet.

No, I thought it was going to be by now, but I guess not. We will have to just wait and see if it ever happens.
