2 questions have been eating at me....

What wheels are these on this old "Lux?

And

Will Bruiser/Mountaineer wheels fit on the old Hilux hubs?

nev er seen them before, but look like they're made just for the hubs

no, not even close. The bolt pattern is different. You can swap in bruiser-mounty knuckles and hubs to get 2.2's on it. Those can be fitted. Rear just hubs and a spacer for the E clip or swap in a bruiser axlebwith threadded ends.

I,ve never seen the wheels before either, and i'm in Australia...maybe they may have been made by the same company as the transmission spur gear i have - RPM

thats right, the bruiser/mounty wheels wont go on the hubs...they have to be changed to the suitable hubs for the wheels. (i went the other way, i have a bruiser rear axle, put the hilux hubs back on to fit the original wheels, when the first axle wore out)

Supra wonders if the eBay Hilux has some super rare Tamiya protoype wheels. They appear to be the same type and color of plastic the big T uses. Even look similar in design to the Hornet wheels. That thing may actually be a good value due to the unique-ness of the wheels....

As for hubs:
I'm looking for the locking-hub-look for the FJ-Bruiser. (JPS wheels, RC4wd hubs, Engle axles)

Theoretically, if I use Hilux rear hubs on the front of the FJ-Bruiser, I get a full time 4wd without the freewheeling effect of the 1-way bearings, and a scale appearance. Then again, my theories are often as useful as a concrete kite.

So, how the heck do I get those cool hubs on the FJ?

yes, the tires and wheels in the third pic. you would have to extensively modify them to work.
