Can anybody help me? :help:
I have seen some of the trucks that have it installed but no internal shots to see how it was mounted

Sorry, I don't have one.
Do you have a picture or model number of the semi you are interested in?

To be honest Tamiya doesnt really show how it gets mounted...This is particularly frustrating when your installing the MFU on a globeliner cab as well...You basically just have to fab up some type of mounting tray for it...And as for the speaker,I drilled it to the roof of the cab and used a sleeper top to cover it
Hope this helps

The two Mercedes are older than the MFU and where thus not constructed for use with the MFU. However the MFU fits in all trucks and the manual for the MFU shows how. I am aware that it is unclear on the details and my best advice is to browse Tamiyaclub's gallery for picture on how others have done it.
The Globeliner, Scania and Volvo share equally sized driver cabs and are thus also of interest when you look for pictures. As the Scania is a post-MFU construction you should find more Scanias with the MFU, helping you to see how the parts have been placed. The Mercedes 1850L is a different story as it is meant to use part of the cargo hold for the MFU installation.
Here is a good place to start looking for how others have solved the same problem:

Thanks, I see people have made shelves or trays for placement. I am almost done with building and I will post picks soon.

I am just letting my MFU sit on top of the vibration unit. All of the wiring seems to hold it pretty steady. I haven't had any problems with interference. I think it's ok to keep it loose and not mount it with 2 sided tape.
